I GET IDEAS ABOUT WHAT’S ESSENTIAL WHEN PACKING MY SUITCASE.
— Diane Von Furstenberg

The key to traveling exclusively with a carry-on or a weekender bag? Only packing favorites that are super versatile, lightweight and dependable like Always Infinity (zero feel - literally feels like nothing and protects like nothing else!), multi-purpose makeup products, and a great pair of shoes you can actually walk in. That’s why I’m partnering with one of my absolute favorite brands, Always, to bring you my go-to packing list for a weekend getaway.

Here are my most versatile must-haves no matter where you’re going this weekend:

1. Stylish shoes so you can strut down any concrete catwalk.

I live for a great pair of mules! After living in New York for over five years and getting my heels stuck in the cobblestoned streets of the Meatpacking District one too many times, I’ve all but traded in my stilettos for a chunky-heeled mule like the Bernardos pictured here. They’re perfect for date nights in Rhode Island or brunch with your girls in Montauk. Look for a pair without embellishments or in a neutral color so you can wear them everywhere and with anything.

2. Always Infinity pads to keep you covered and protected no matter where you go.

No, really. These have been a total game changer for me. I had the chance to visit the Always headquarters in Cincinnati and was blown away by the FlexFoam™ material technology behind the Always Infinity pad and how the pads mold to your body shape so you barely feel it. These pads seriously feel like nothing, while providing phenomenal protection.

They’re super thin, ultra-light, and protect you for up to 10 hours by absorbing 10x their weight, making them perfect for when you’re traveling. Let’s be real, no one wants to worry about being uncomfortable or leaking (yikes!) when they’re site-seeing or eating their way through a new city. The Always Infinity pads are reliable and have given me so much more confidence that nothing can hold me back even when I’m on my period. After trying these, I’ll never pack anything else in my weekender!

3. A cute bathing suit for impromptu beach adventures.

No matter where I’m traveling to, I always bring a fun swimsuit with me! What can I say? I’m a California girl through and through - we’re pretty much born in a bikini. Bring one with you just in case and you won’t regret it. Better yet, bring a one-piece swimsuit that can double as a body-suit, so you can get even more wear out of it. I’m all for small pieces that make a huge impact, especially when I’m gearing up for a trip.

4. Statement jewelry to dress up just about anything in your suitcase.

I recently spent 10 days in the Caribbean and packed just a little more than a carry-on because of the accessories I brought along. You’d be surprised how many times you can re-wear a piece as long as you switch up your jewelry! I especially love traveling with a few pairs of big, bold statement earrings because they take up so little space and make you instantly look polished.

5. Multi-purpose makeup to help you shine even brighter.

Highlighter is everything in my make-up bag. If I could only bring three beauty products with me anywhere, highlighter would be at the top of my list because of how versatile it is. It attracts light and creates the illusion of brightness for that lit-from-within look that we’re all always searching for. I love it mixed in with my foundation for glowy skin or dabbed under the arch of my eyebrows for an instant brow lift. You can also dot a bit of it to the inner corners of your eyes to make you look more awake or on your cupid’s bow to make your lips look fuller.

What do you always make sure to bring with you when you travel? Are you already a huge fan of Always Infinity like me? What products have changed your packing game?
